There are a few phrases uttered by luminaries that I have taken to heart. None moreso than the company motto in the Meaning of Life that people should wear more hats. Now, wearing the ideal hat for the occasion whilst travelling is tricky, given the limited spae available for hatboxes and the like. It therefore seems appropriate to put this mantra on hold, and adopt another, more suitable to unemployment, for the time being.
Every grown man who has yet to lose his hair must surely wish to grow it. I cannot see any fallacies in this argument. Yet to date I have either been too young to class as grown, or with too serious a form of job to warrant the inevitable showdown with a boss that would result in attempting to grow my do.
However, now I am free from these shackles, and plan to follow Jimi Hendrix advice, at least until it gets too itchy:
“To be with the others, you have to have your hair short and wear ties. So we’re trying to make a third world happen, you know what I mean?”
